Pricing & insurance, without the fog

You should know how paying works before you ever walk in. Here is how it works.

George W. Carroll, MD Florida license ME48111NPI 1073644985 Men’s sexual medicine since 1992

Insurance

  • Medicare: we participate with Medicare and accept assignment.
  • Commercial insurance: most plans are accepted. Our office verifies your benefits by procedure code before your visit, so coverage questions are answered up front rather than on a statement later. Copays are collected at the visit; the remainder is billed to your plan.
  • HMO plans: HMO plans are not accepted. When any service isn’t covered by your insurance, we tell you before it happens, with the cash price.

Cash-pay services

Some services — for example, elective treatment courses such as shockwave therapy — are not covered by insurance and are cash-pay. Exact, all-in pricing for your recommended treatment is provided at consultation and on request by phone, before you commit to anything. No surprise line items.

Office policies

  • Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a $45 cancellation fee.
  • Payment is due at the time of service for copays and cash-pay care.

Common questions

Does Medicare cover ED treatment?
Medicare typically covers medically necessary office visits and diagnostic testing, and we participate and accept assignment. Elective treatment courses such as shockwave therapy, and compounded medications, are generally not covered by Medicare or commercial insurance — those are priced plainly, in advance.
Will my insurance cover the diagnostic evaluation?
That depends on your plan — which is exactly why we verify benefits by procedure code before your visit. Call and our office will check yours. Call 407-894-9959
Why isn’t a price list published here?
Because the honest answer depends on your diagnosis, your insurance, and what your care involves. We quote real, all-in numbers for your specific case — by phone or at consultation — rather than teaser rates.
